Transylvania-born and London-based, Nina Pixina is a DJ working at the intersection of hypnotic vocals, techno, trance and fast, groovy rhythms. Active in London’s underground, they have appeared at venues including Fold London, steadily building a presence in the city’s late-night circuits.
Nina began DJing in September 2023 after several formative years inside London’s queer techno culture. The dance floor became a place to discover and express identity, a site of liberation, joy and community that shaped their outlook and prompted a desire to give something back.
That impulse guides a style that is fluid and understatedly hypnotic, weaving vocals through fast-paced techno and trance textures to cultivate feelings of freedom, connection and belonging. Grounded in the communities that first inspired them, they approach each set as a space for care and shared energy.
