Based in Kyiv, Ukraine, morekhvyli is a multi-genre DJ whose sets trace a calm, hypnotic line through ambient and dub techno into progressive/tech house and breaks. Her focus is on subtle textures and steady flow, building atmosphere without sacrificing movement.
Her path began with a long-standing pull toward music, even while working in photography and graphic design. After discovering gabba at raves in 2017, she decided to learn the craft, enrolling in DJ school as a birthday gift to herself. Since then she has been experimenting with genres and techniques, aiming for a cohesive sound space where rhythm and atmosphere interlock, guided by tactile details and unconventional sonic accents.
Active across Ukraine, she has played in Kyiv, Kharkiv and Lviv, with appearances at Closer Connections, HVLV, Mezzanine, Scene 5, Sympatia and Fader. She recorded a mix for the independent label Noneside, appeared on 20ft Radio, and has performed at Opik, Hidden, HUM, Mirage and the Jager Music Awards.
Community work is central to her practice. Formerly part of the formation What is feminine?, she helped organize musical and non-musical events in Kyiv. Now working independently, she supports local parties and travels to play around the country, encouraging dialogue between formations and artists to strengthen the Ukrainian scene.
