Paris-based DJ and electronic music producer Divine Mechanic works in a hypnotic techno vein, shaping evening sets with tight rhythmic grids, deep bass pressure and understated atmospheric textures. He is signed to the Forbidden Sessions label and is active around the Paris circuit.
Early influences like Richie Hawtin, Linear System and Audio Units inform a focused, minimalist approach. His practice has grown through steady club work in the city, honing pacing and tension over long-form mixes.
He runs and is resident at his own party, Club Fantôme, and previously founded and art-directed Shadow Odissey, a now-retired event that drew around 3,000 people. Club Fantôme is a smaller, recurring night of around 500, where he curates lineups and develops the room’s sound. Alongside his work with Forbidden Sessions, he has helped promote larger parties in Paris.
Committed to his local scene, he releases Parisian artists on his own label and brings them into his bookings at Club Fantôme, using the party as a platform for new talent and tightly programmed techno.
